Pilot Project Coming

Hopefully this is the last post before the first version goes live

Greetings, loyal reader! I wanted to take a moment to mention that you are not forgotten. I’ve gotten busy with the site and currently have an intro set of exercises for “Data Analytics with Python!” In the next couple of days, I expect to double that, having a course on basic machine learning. Things are happening rapidly, and I’m excited to share these things with my ReDi School students and friends.

It’s a little early to go into details, but there’s also movement on the co-founder front. I’ve been in contact with several people who are interested, and it looks like I’ll have some company soon (both in the sense of someone accompanying me, and the sense of a firm, I guess). It’s a little tricky to expand while launching a prototype. But isn’t that what startups are supposed to do? Move fast and break things?

Finally, if anyone is in Athens or Utrecht in October, swing by the respective PyCon. At both, I’ll be giving my talk on what data models are, what they can do, and what they can’t. I promise silly examples and enthusiasm. And who knows, maybe it’ll even have facts, too! Have a great autumn, and let’s get ready for a good launch!
